Peak Telecom offers a range of calling plans that are customized to your needs. To start off with Peak Telecom offers three types of calling plans - Peak Eazy, Peak Power and Peak World.

Peak Eazy is our starter plan, meant to introduce you into the world of VoIP. As the name conveys, this plan is simple and easy to use. Although Peak Eazy plan has no subscription fees, calls to other VoiZ users are always free. The customer can also call international fixed and mobile destinations as long as the account has sufficient balance. When the balance becomes insufficient, the customer must recharge the account so as to have sufficient balance to ensure uninterrupted calling. While registering for an account, the customer gets a free international telephone number (Peak VoiZ Number) to make and receive calls. The customer can choose from different nationalities such as Denmark, United Kingdom etc. for a telephone number of their choice. The customer will not be charged anything for the first Peak VoiZ Number, but from the second one onwards, the customer will be charged depending on the nationality of the Peak VoiZ Number.

While registering for an account, the customer will be charged an amount equivalent to $9.99 but the entire amount will be converted into free talk-time for the customer. The customer can use this talk-time to make international calls to fixed and mobile destinations while calls to other Peak VoiZ users remain absolutely free. When the talk-time diminishes, the customer can buy more credit and enjoy uninterrupted calling. However, the customer must maintain a minimum balance of the equivalent of $1 at all points of time.

Peak Power is our flat rate offering with free minutes to free destinations. This is a monthly subscription with sub-plans. All the sub-plans are priced at an equivalent of $19.99 per month and offer free minutes to free destinations as mentioned below:

Peak Power America - 1, 600 minutes to USA, Canada & Puerto Rico
Peak Power Planet - 900 minutes to USA, Canada, Puerto Rico & over 40 Free Countries
Peak Power Taj - 600 minutes to India
Peak Power India - 500 minutes to India & over 43 Free Countries

While signing up for a Peak Power account, every customer also gets a free talk-time of the equivalent of $2, which he can use to call international fixed and mobile destinations outside these Free Countries. The customer can also call international fixed and mobile destinations (not part of the Free Destinations) as long as the account has sufficient balance. When the balance becomes insufficient, the customer must recharge the account so as to have sufficient balance to ensure uninterrupted calling. However, the customer must maintain a minimum balance of the equivalent of $1 at all points of time.

Till the customer's free minutes get exhausted, his/ her account will not be charged for the calls. However, when the customer's free minutes run out, his/ her account will be charged as per the Peak Power Calling Rates.

Peak World N. America - 20, 000 minutes to USA, Canada & Puerto Rico
Peak Power Planet - 7, 500 minutes to India

Free Countries
What exactly do you mean by Free Countries?

Peak Telecom has been providing calling card and callback services for well over a decade and a half. Hence we are very well aware of the most favorite and frequently called destinations and we would like to try and provide free calling to most of those destinations so that you can always be in touch with your friends & family or business associates.

The Free Countries list is a list of destinations to which free calls are offered. However, this free calling facility is entitled only to Peak Power and Peak World customers. Please refer to the above mentioned plans to know exactly how many minutes of free calling is on offer every month/year. The number of free minutes to the Free Countries as well as any new addition/ deletion to the countries in the Free Countries list will be constantly updated and published on the website.

Depending upon the plan that you have chosen you will be provided free minutes to call these free destinations. The softphone will display the number of free minutes that are remaining to the free destinations that are on offer according to your plan. Till your free minutes are exhausted you will not be charged for these calls and if you are making calls to the free destinations, your balance will remain intact as long as you have free minutes left. When your free minutes are exhausted, you will be charged as per the specified calling rates and this will be reflected on the account balance on your softphone.

Please note that the free calling facility is provided only to fixed phones of most countries in the Free Countries list. However for some countries, this facility extends to the mobile phones as well. Peak Eazy customers are not entitled to this free calling facility. Any Peak Eazy customer who calls any destination on the Free Countries list or any other destination, will be charged as per the specified Calling Rates.

Free SMS
Can any VoiZ customer avail of the Free SMS offer?
Is sending SMS to any destination absolutely free?

Any VoiZ customer who has an online account (My VoiZ) can avail of the Free SMS offer. In order to use this facility, the VoiZ customer must log onto his/ her online account on the website. Free SMS offers are available only to certain destinations. For other destinations, sending messages will be billed according to the specified SMS rates. Please login into your online account and click on the Free SMS option to know which destinations you can text for free from your region. Refer A Friend
Will I be entitled to $5 worth free credit top up for every friend that I bring along?
When will this amount be credit to my account balance?
Peak VoiZ is a big and growing family and the rewards for helping us becoming bigger are quite big as well. For every friend that you refer to us or recommend our service to, you will be entitled to $5 worth free credit balance.

However, in any order to prevent any misuse, this amount will be credited only if your friend has become a Peak VoiZ customer and used the service for over two months. If your friend signs up for the service and uses it for a brief period of time which is lesser than 60 days, the credit that you earned on behalf of that particular VoiZ customer will stand withheld.

However, you may continue to refer more friends and if they will sign up for the service and use it for over 60 days, this amount will be credited to your account balance. The amount will be credited to your account within 5 days of your friend completing two months of usage of the service. There is no upper limit on the number of friends that you can refer. The more, the merrier!

Once you log into My VoiZ, you can top up your credit. If you do not want to do this chore every time your balance becomes low, you can opt in for the auto recharge option. Calling Rates
How can I know the calling rates to outbound destinations?
How frequently are the calling rates updated?
Will there be any sudden changes in the calling rates?
Why is that I think I am being charged more than what is shown on the calling rate sheet?

The calling rates to all outbound destinations can be found on the calling rates page on the home page as well as in your My VoiZ account. The calling rates are updated every fortnight. Please keep yourselves updated with the latest price changes. The calling rates are normally updated only once every fortnight. Calling rates need not change every time it is updated. However, sometimes due to factors such as volatile markets, government ruling etc., certain affected prices may be modified instantly. Please frequent the calling rates page so that you are up-to-date with the latest calling rates.

While the calling rate page shows the calling rates up to 3 decimal points, your softphone will show your account balance only up to 2 decimal points. The actual calculation in the system's backend happens with over 4 decimal points. Hence you may see slight variation on the account balance displayed on your softphone in comparison with the rates shown on the calling rates page. However, the actual calculation happens with over 4 decimal points and you will never be charged any hidden or unexpected costs.

As of now, the only online payment mechanism is via credit card. Please check with our Customer Care Center to know more about the latest retail and other payment mechanisms in your region. Right now, you can use the credit card to make purchases of credit for your account, calling plan subscriptions etc.

If you choose a monthly or annual subscription, your subscription fee will automatically be deducted from your credit card at the start of every monthly billing cycle. If the subscription amount cannot be deducted from the credit card, then your account will not be recharged with the subscription amount for that month and hence, might remain inactive or as is the case.
